Founded in 1975 in Kuching, Sarawak, the company was involved with manufacturing of timber products and hollow block in order to meet demands for the construction of People Housing Scheme Project (RPR). As main turnkey contractor for Housing Development Corporation's housing project, Daya Builders has successfully completed numerous projects throughout Sarawak such as Rancangan Perumahan Rakyat (RPR), Rumah Mampu Milik (RMM) and Rumah Mesra Rakyat (RMR).

With its new corporate restructuring and rebranding, the company has embarked on a strategy to diversify its business in the IBS component manufacturing industry, building rehabilitation, as well as participating in government, private and development projects.
